Our monitoring services include providing accurate and reliable satellite data with our high-resolution satellite monitoring, as well as high-resolution aerial methane monitoring, using the same patented sensor technology. This makes us the only company that can operate the same sensor at different altitudes, ensuring we can meet the requirements of our customers.

Our Global Survey service leverages public and private third-party satellite emissions datasets to provide timely analysis of large emissions events to operators – and boosts worldwide monitoring coverage. Global Survey uses our on-house data processing and analysis capabilities with customers accessing the results through our SPECTRA platform – making it easy to share and take action on fugitive emissions.

Expanding Technology

The constellation currently consists of six satellites in orbit, and we have plans to deploy an additional six satellites by the end of 2023. This expansion doubles our satellite monitoring capabilities, enabling us to measure a greater range of methane emissions and provide more frequent revisits to sites of interest.

GHGSat has recently launched 3 new satellites into orbit in collaboration with SpaceX, marking a significant advancement in the fight against climate change. These satellites represent a major milestone in our mission to provide accurate and high-resolution data on greenhouse gas emissions.
