GHGSat’s satellite constellation has redefined environmental monitoring by tracing greenhouse gas emissions to individual industrial facilities from space for the first time and monitoring sites at an unmatched near-daily cadence. In 2023 alone, GHGSat’s fleet of satellites took more than 3 million observations around the world. With a recent announcement of plans to near-double its constellation by the end of 2026, GHGSat continues to rapidly expand, enabling more frequent emissions monitoring.
